Rose will be playing in blue this season!

Rose Lavaud joins Bordeaux!

TRANSFERT - Friday, July 28, 2017 - 12:24

After six years with Saint Etienne, Lavaud joins the Girondines.

Hot on the heels of new goalkeeper Erin Nayler, Rose Lavaud is the latest addition to our squad.

Born in Tulle, Corrèze, Rose is an attacking midfielder. She started her professional career in 2007 at Limoges LF, scoring 15 goals in 35 games before moving to RCF Mâcon and later to Toulouse FC. At the end of the 2010-2011 season she moved again, this time to AS Saint-Etienne and her first taste of Division 1. She made 86 appearances for ASSE, scoring 25 goals.

Lavaud's strong performances led to a call-up to the national team at the age of just 15. She has won 16 caps for the U19 side and 1 for the first team.

We are delighted to welcome Rose to Bordeaux, and look forward to seeing her shine in the navy and white!
