TRANSFERT - Tuesday, February 5, 2019 - 16:01
The Girondins de Bordeaux have reached an agreement with Red Star Belgrade for the permanent transfer of Milan Gajic.
It's official: Milan Gajic is no longer a Bordeaux player. The Serbian right back has joined FK Red Star Belgrade. Having passed the traditional medical, Milan signed a contract which will keep him in the Serbian capital for the next three and a half years.
This transfer sees the Serbia U21 international return to his home country with one of the biggest clubs in the Serbian league. Red Star are reigning champions, and currently sit at the top of the SuperLiga with a nine point advantage over their nearest rivals. In Belgrade Milan will be reunited with Jonathan Cafu, currently on loan from Bordeaux, and Vujadin Savic, another ex-Girondin (2010-2014).
Since moving to Bordeaux in 2015, Milan has made 40 appearances for the Girondins (scoring 1 goal).
The Club would like to thank Milan for his professionalism and dedication over the past three and a half seasons. We wish him all the best for this next step in his career.
