Discover the home of the Girondins: the Matmut ATLANTIQUE
The Matmut Atlantique is the new stronghold of the Girondins de Bordeaux, with 42,115 seats. The stadium is equipped to host different types of sporting events as well as concerts. The Matmut ATLANTIQUE is located near Bordeaux Lac, easily accessible from the ringroad and via public transport (Lines B and C of the tram). The stadium also has 7000 parking spaces within walking distance.
The Matmut Atlantique is designed to be a vibrant, bustling place all year round:
Galerie Girondins is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00, and on matchdays. This 700m² boutique stocks the whole range of official Girondins products with clothes for the whole family, from sports kit to casual wear. On matchdays, the club opens extra pop-up shops selling official products in the Girondins village and inside the stadium. Visit the official Galerie Girondins website: http://boutique.girondins.com
The Fan Zone is a hive of activity on the West side of the Matmut ATLANTIQUE, opening 3 hours before kick-off on match days. The fan zone offers concerts, games, showcases, signing sessions, food trucks and more to get you in the mood for the big game. The stadium itself opens 90 minutes before kick-off.
The St Once Brasserie is a 200-seater traditional French restaurant with an original décor.
Guided tours are organised throughout the year, for members of the public curious to see what goes on behind the scenes at the Matmut Atlantique.
In the stands, fans can take their pick from over 37,000 places, all seated and sheltered from the elements (and that's without counting the VIP sections). All seats are accessible via the walkway, running round the stadium and dotted with twenty food stands, screens and shops. The walkway is the bustling heart of the stadium, a great place to grab a snack and discuss the game at half-time. There are also 125 reserved spaces for fans with limited mobility, as well as 125 spaces for those accompanying them. Extra facilities are available for fans with other disabilities (visual impairments, hearing difficulties etc.).
The Matmut Atlantique has a full range of high-quality, flexible reception spaces which can hold up to 4400 VIPs. That's a total of 9000 m² of hospitality facilities, including over 4000 m² of lounges in the East and West stands. These executive lounges offer panoramic views of the pitch, as well as access to a dedicated terrace. On the upper floor, the stadium has 60 private boxes with accompanying seats, with space for 1000 guests.
