The EA Sports Football Challenge

The EA Sport Football Challenge has its origins in the shared commitment of two brands to connecting directly with passionate football supporters. In practice, this means offering you a unique gaming experience in partnership with your favourite club.

The EA SPORTS Football Challenge is aimed at football fanatics, offering an amazing opportunity in the heart of your club.

The principle of the EA SPORTS FC has not changed since last season, and the only official EA Sports-approved FIFA tournament still offers 3 methods of qualification, all leading to the unique National Final (which will be held offline) at the end of the season, pitting the 100 best players in France against one another.

For the thousands of players who enter the contest, there is one simple objective: to score the most points in "The Race", the national ranking system, and thus to earn one of the 100 spots in the National FInal, and the chance to walk away with the title EASFC French Champion 2011.

These tournaments are open to all, and registration is free for all.

3 ways to qualify
 

Club tournaments – in partnership with FC Girondins de Bordeaux, Paris St Germain, Olympique Lyonnais and Olympique de Marseille.

In each of these 4 partner cities, 4 qualifying rounds knwon as 'Club Tournaments' are organised every season. Each of these tournament days leads to 2 'Finals', which are played at the stadium of the club before a real match.

The finalists, 16 per club, go head-to-head on FIFA11 before a Ligue 1 match on a special Playstation 3 console installed pitchside at the stadium. These finals are displayed live on the stadium's giant screens, and the winners qualify directly for the French national FIFA Championship. The preliminary rounds start in September, and never fail to draw a crowd.

There are two other ways to earn your place in the national final:

• Participate via internet with our Online tournaments.
• This season there will be 3 Online competitions: Cup, League and Trophy. Registration and information on the official site of the EA SPORTS FC.
